WORD OF THE KINGDOM

OPERATING AND WINNING IN THE SUPERNATURAL

June 24 2016 , Written by jeremiah monday utterrre

Supernatural as defined or explained by the dictionary means, that which cannot be explained by the laws of science and that it involves god or magic, events, forces or powers that cannot be explained. As believers and worshippers of the Almighty God, we know and believe that He operates, deals and acts in the supernatural, His hand is always in our daily affairs. As faithful followers, we too have the ability to operate and act in the supernatural.

While here on earth, Christ Jesus as written in the Luke 9:1, Christ gave authority to His faithful over demons and power to cure sicknesses in course of their preaching and spreading the good news of God’s kingdom, they were empowered to do wondrous deeds in His name. Also in Luke 10:19, power and authority was given to trample on all evil and injurious things, destroying the powers of the enemy.

In our world today, there two distinctive powers that control the supernatural, but the Almighty God is the supreme authority, He is the provider of all things good and for this reason He gave His son Christ Jesus to come, die so that all humans may be cleansed and be redeemed back unto Almighty Father.

As true believers and worshippers of God, we have been given great authority over Satan and his demons, we are gods to them and much authority has been given us to bind and destroy all their evil manifestations-Ps. 82:6

We have superior mentality over all the demons and the devil. To exact authority, we must be committed to prayers and fasting so as to draw more power from the Almighty God. We must engage the spirit of boldness, if we must be able to confront the evil one and his hordes and overcome them all!

We need to be bold in spirit, to be fearless and completely unperturbed in the face of danger. This spirit of boldness is the one thing that helps us to operate in the realm of the supernatural backed by courage. It was with courage and boldness, David stood against the Philistines. 1 Sam. 17:44. Being courageous in the face of battle in the supernatural, coming to your enemy with the all-powerful name of Christ Jesus, we can defeat the devil!

When we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, we need not falter nor run back but rather stand firm and face the devil and his demons. With strong conviction, we need to open our mouths and declare with power and authority to overcome all adversities in our lives, in our business, in our families and in our society! We must walk with boldness, when we fail to declare boldly and with power, we delay our ability to do great works in His name! 1 Sam. 17:47

We are very opportune to have the backing of the Holy Spirit and empowered to do battle with the devil and his demons. 2kings 6:16; 2Chro. 32:7 We must have explicit trust in the Almighty God for He is firmly behind us. We are empowered to do great deeds with our speeches and body motions. Dan. 3:17,18; Mark 11:38

When filled with the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to speak with authority and shake the very foundations of the evil one and bring glory to the name of the Almighty and Most High Father! Because we are earthly representatives of God and Christ, we must be bold and courageous, stand and face all demons and adversities for He has given us the power to operate in the supernatural! On this premise, the devil must and will accord us the same respect he gives to our heavenly Father and depart when we ask or command him to!

There is a compelling force in the name of Christ Jesus when we are operating boldly. The wicked one looks for our fear and slackness in our spirit, to be able to attack us but since we are filled with that boldness, the devil runs far! We need to operate with boldness while we walk with God, request the presence of the Holy Spirit so as to boldly and courageously battle with the evil one. We must push him out and make our lives unsuitable for him and his demons to inhabit and operate in!

These things will only be possible if there exist no covenant with God, we have to give ourselves whole-souled to the service of God and be made a new creature in Christ Jesus. We must return to God and settle with Him as our grand protector and provider! Mal. 3:17

We must return to God and lay ourselves at His mercy.

We must be committed and be settled with God’s Word as our daily manual

There must be a covenant to serve God whole-heartedly.

We must make offerings of sacrifice from the heart, to appease God so as to unleash His power unto us!

God who gives grace will settle us all when we return to Him! 1 Pet 5:10
